We’re so glad you’re here.
As the Grandview Park Ward begins, one thing matters most from the very start: you belong here. Not eventually. Not once things settle down. You belong here today.
For some, this change may feel a little uncertain. A new ward, a new building, a new routine. It might even feel like things are farther away than before. But interestingly, if you check, Google Maps shows it’s only about a five-minute drive from the old meetinghouse to the new one. Sometimes something new can feel bigger than it really is at first.
But what matters most hasn’t changed.
In the scriptures, we’re reminded that we are “no more strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints” (Ephesians 2:19). That message applies here and now.
No matter where you’re coming from, you are not a stranger in this ward. You are part of this ward family.
Each person brings something meaningful, your experiences, your faith, your kindness, your willingness to serve. This ward won’t be built by a few, but by all of us together.
As we begin, we invite you to take a simple step: introduce yourself to someone new, reach out, and help make this a place where everyone feels at home.
We’re grateful you’re here. And we’re excited to move forward, together.
You Belong Here
